Finish dusty work in the cleaning area
Check whether cutting, sanding, drilling, or similar work will continue in the room. If it will, move the final clean later or identify the touch-up work that will follow.
Post-Construction Cleaning
Prepare the finished commercial areas before the final cleaning visit. Separate remaining trade work from the rooms being cleaned, identify surface concerns, and make the work areas accessible.

Arrange removal of bulk construction debris before cleaners arrive. Clear materials and equipment from the floors and surfaces that need cleaning.
Point out newly installed finishes and any product-care instructions. Describe deposits such as adhesive or paint so the surface and cleaning method can be assessed before treatment.
Identify the entry contact and the available work hours. Explain restrictions that affect reaching the finished surfaces, including areas that remain occupied or under construction.
Let the cleaning team know if installers will return after the final clean. A later touch-up can remove fresh dust from the rooms where they work.
Use the project checklist to note which rooms are ready, which surfaces need care, and your preferred visit date. Share any last-minute changes with the cleaning team before arrival.
