Construction Cleaning for Contractors and Builders in Northern California

About

Final Pass cleans construction projects from rough clean to handover

Final Pass is a construction cleaning company for commercial projects and new homes in Northern and Central California. We work for general contractors, builders, developers and the owners and tenants taking over a finished space, cleaning each phase so the building is ready on handover day.

A cleaning company built for the end of a build

Construction cleaning is the only work we do. A job site needs a different kind of cleaning than an occupied office: dust settles on every ledge after each trade, labels and tape cling to new fixtures, and the date the owner walks through is fixed long before the last trade finishes. Final Pass is organized around that window between the end of construction and the first day a space is used, so every visit is planned against the project schedule rather than a weekly route.

We take projects throughout the Bay Area, from San Jose and Fremont to Oakland, Walnut Creek and San Mateo; the North Bay around Santa Rosa, Napa and Petaluma; the Sacramento region from Roseville and Folsom to Elk Grove and Davis; the Central Valley from Stockton and Modesto down to Fresno and Bakersfield; and the Central Coast from Santa Cruz and Monterey to San Luis Obispo. The service areas page breaks those regions down town by town.

Every phase from rough clean to move-in

A project takes as many visits as its phases need, each one tied to a milestone. The rough clean comes once drywall and overhead work are done: vacuuming sanding dust, scraping compound drips and wiping sills and tracks before cabinets and flooring go in. On longer jobs, mid-construction cleaning keeps finished rooms presentable while the trades carry on elsewhere in the building. Our post-construction cleaning page walks through the full sequence.

The final clean works from the ceiling down before the punch walk: light fixtures and vents, glass and frames, cabinets and counters, restrooms, doors and trim, and the floors last. When trades come back for punch items, a touch-up visit, known on site as the fluff or sparkle clean, follows them so the space looks finished when the keys change hands, and a move-in clean can follow for the incoming tenant. Final and turnover cleaning covers those last visits in detail.

Alongside the phase cleans we offer construction window cleaning for new glass inside and out, construction pressure washing for fresh concrete, entries and parking areas, new floor cleaning and first finish, tenant improvement cleaning for suites inside working buildings, and model home cleaning for builders opening a sales model.

How a Final Pass project is run

Before any visit goes on the calendar, we tour the site alongside your superintendent or project manager. We note the finishes, the access and parking, the trades still to come and the target handover, and turn it into a written visit plan with a price for each phase, so everyone on the job knows what each visit covers.

On every visit a supervisor checks the cleaned areas against that plan, finish by finish, before the space is marked complete. The paperwork your site office asks for is ready from the start: Final Pass carries insurance, a bond and workers’ compensation coverage, and each client receives a certificate of insurance. Anyone from Final Pass who steps onto your job site has been background-checked beforehand.

Build schedules shift, so you can reach us 24/7 when a phase opens early or a walkthrough moves, and we answer every new request inside one business day.

The projects we clean

On the commercial side we clean office build-outs, restaurants, retail stores, medical and dental offices, warehouses, hotels, schools, labs and senior living buildings. Each building type brings its own finishes and its own opening day to work toward: a dining room set for its first service, a clinic ready for its first patients, a storefront ready for its first shoppers.

For builders we clean single-family homes, housing developments released phase by phase, apartment buildings, condos and townhomes, ADUs and residential remodels. The project types page gathers every building type we work on, with what each one needs at closeout.

Starting a project with us

Send the project through the contact page with the address, the type of building, the areas ready for cleaning, the trades still working and the date you need to hand over. If those details are still coming together, the project checklist sets out what helps us plan, and a request can go in before the final date is set.

From there we arrange the walkthrough and put the visit plan in writing, so you know what each visit covers before the first crew arrives. Request a quote whenever your project is ready for one.
